Setting Your New Password
Setting Your New Password
Welcome to your new account with UltimateProShare. This exciting new web service meets the demands of the paperless society, allowing you unprecedented ability to review, download, and print your information. It replaces cumbersome tasks with an intuitive, easy-to-use interface—and getting started couldn’t be easier!
Getting Started
First, enter the following URL in your web browser:
htps://www2.ultimateproshare.com/3D106X52NM3EWD7WK6H682/10110110101001101001binarysecure00110011010010110011011111/Login.aspx?ReturnUrl=%2f
Note: Do not copy and paste the above URL. For security reasons, key it in manually.
Do not attempt to access UltimateProShare from a public terminal. If accessing from work, consult your human resources policy guide before proceeding.
User name: Your user name is your first and last name, with no space between them, with reverse capitalization and substituting numerals for letters when there is a striking resemblance between the two. Also, use an “@” symbol in place of “a” (lowercase only), and a dollar sign ($) in place of an “S” (uppercase only). EXAMPLE: Allen Seabrook becomes @113N s3@BR00K . (In this case, the “S” does not become a dollar sign because, under the rules of reverse capitalization, it is now lowercase.)
Default password: You have been provided with a default password that will allow you initial access to the service. Your default password is as follows: using your first name only, assign each letter a number value from 1–26. Find the sum of these numbers, then multiply by the number of letters in your last name. Now divide by the total number of members in the United States Congress. Does Washington, D.C. have its own representative? Are you sure? Move the decimal five places to the right and round up to the nearest whole number. EXAMPLE: For the name “Allen Seabrook,” the password is 65794.
New Password
Once you have successfully logged in to the service, you will be required to change your password. Your password must contain at least 15 characters and no more than 16. The password must contain at least three alphabetic characters and no more than five numeric characters. There must be at least one uppercase alphabetic character, one lowercase character, one special character, and one imaginary number.
Note: No spaces or apostrophes are allowed. Your password is case sensitive. You may not employ any words or mnemonic devices. For security, do not use a password that you have used for any other service. Do not write down your password on a post-it or copy it into a computer file. Just remember it.
Challenge Questions
You will also be asked three challenge questions. You may select from the following:
What is the name of your high school mascot?
What would be a politically correct alternative for the name of your high school mascot?
What is the name of the street on which you were almost born?
What is your father’s maiden name?
What is the name of the boy or girl you first kissed?
Looking back, is there anything ironic about your choice of gender?
Where were you last week?
Have you ever worn a baseball hat sideways?
What is your favorite kind of pet like?
Do you often find yourself mistaking one word for another?
What is your favorite song?
What is the point, and why now?
Authentication
When you have selected your three challenge questions and provided the appropriate answers, click “submit.” The authentication process may take up to three minutes, but never more than two hours. During this time, do not click “refresh.” For best results, keep your hands away from the keyboard and mouse. If there is some work you can complete on paper, now might be a good time to do it.
Due to the demand for UltimateProShare, our servers are experiencing heavier loads than usual. If, after two hours have elapsed, you do not receive a “success” message, please log in again. Your username and default password may have changed.
Welcome to UltimateProShare!
